About

Miss Beretta a.k.a. Marielle Reuser

Originally from Holland, I’m a 3D artist by trade and in my spare time I’d like to get myself and surroundings dirty with ink, watercolours, acrylics and tons of pencil shavings. I can also be found playing around with Zbrush or working on Flash games which I never actually finish. Named after my great grandmother, “Miss Beretta” is my sketching blog.

And if you like selfie-less Instagram pages filled with ink sketches, life drawings, silly paintings and the occasional goat, then go ahead and follow me on Instagram where most of the action happens.

  1. Thanks for checking my blog and the follow, Marielle. I’m a big Shane Glines fan too – he’s fiendishly good. Also, don’t know if it’s intentional but you’re a dead-ringer for Bettie Page in your photos! Keep up the good work.

  2. I love your style Marielle! Your drawings are really great. I spent about 8 years of my youth being completely absorbed into video games. Every year before that I was as absorbed as school and parents would allow. I eventually gave it up altogether when I was 21, but it’s so deeply threaded into my subconscious that every dream I have has distinct characters of video games. There’s over the top action, maps I know every inch of like the back of my hand, often sub-par writing and a “GAME OVER” as I wake up. I guess I still do play video games for 6-10 hours a day, every day. I can’t escape!

  3. Thanks for stopping by! Glad to have found you too, love your work!
And after reading your “About” I kinda know what you like about my “Foxy”-post… They do look like dogs too. 😛
    Cheers!

  4. I stumbled upon your blog and was awestruck by your creativity !
More than the beauty, the emotions behind each paint struck my chords..
Thanks for sharing your talent with the common us!

  5. Thanks for stopping by my blog, I’m glad you liked it.
I love your drawings. I play around with trying to be creative sometimes too. I have to be in the right mood which doesn’t happen very often.
It’s great that you get to work in the same type of things you love to do for fun.

  6. Found you via Patty Nguyen! You rock it girl and my family’s from Holland 😀

  7. A pleasure to hear from you! The three largest Dutch communities in Montana are, Manhattan, Silver Gate and Melville. I was born and raise in Montana.
